On Wednesday, June 17, join Dr. Phil Owens, professor in the Environmental Science Program, as he introduces the exciting new Watershed Science and Management minor.
Designed by the Faculty of Environment, this minor is open to UNBC undergraduate students in all programs.
This multi-disciplinary path of study covers issues such as ecology, environmental policy, and indigenous perspectives, incorporating modern theory and hands-on learning.
The Watershed Science and Management minor will appeal to students who want to incorporate best practices in managing the environmental health of our communities in careers such as government, First Nations, NGOs, and the private sector.
